Name & Title:  Devlin Scott – Director of Worship Ministries

Family: My beautiful wife’s name is Katie – no kids yet, but I want a dog…

Testimony in two sentences or less: In bondage to sin for most of my life, even post giving my life to Christ.  NOW, rescued from my sin and its consequences!

Favorite sports team: Anything Chicago, except the Cubs –but only because I am from the south-side of Chicago –Go Sox!

Person I’d like to meet: Would like to meet Dr. Martin Luther King, mainly because I just found out I was related to him by married.  His wife was my dad’s first cousin once removed.

Favorite place you’ve been/place you’d like to go:  Italy (Como, Venice, and Rome) – want to go to Paris!

How did you wind up at Northwest: One day this beautiful girl walked into a class I was in, who had grown up and still attended Northwest…long story short…we got married and now I’m on staff!

Favorite Bible Character (besides Jesus): There are so many! But I think King David and I will hit it off when we meet in heaven.

Biblical miracle would you like to see first hand: For some reason, I can imagine all of the Biblical miracles happening, but I have a hard time wrapping my mind around the “Feeding of the Five Thousand” – HOW DID HE DO THAT!?

Favorite movie:  Bruce Almighty –ooh, what I would do with God’s power…haha.

Favorite Character from movies/TV/books:   JACK BAUER (From 24)!!

Top 3 books (beside the Bible): To Busy NOT to Pray (Bill Hybels), Every Man’s Battle (Stepen Arterburn and Fred Stoeker), The Most Important Year of a Woman/Man’s Life (Robert Wolgemuth, Mark DeVries, Bobbie Wolgemuth, Susan DeVries).

Hobbies: Playing piano, singing, dancing, cooking, acting, playing basketball…I’m open for anything.

Favorite Pizza Toppings: PEPERRONI

Secret skills/hidden talents: Don’t tell anyone…but I used to do pantomiming (with the white face –like a clown) for ministry. I would “mime” to songs (kind of like a human video)…I was pretty good.
