Testimony in two sentences or less: When I was 16 years old I heard, for the first time, that salvation was a free gift, not deserved or earned. All I had to do was turn my life over to Jesus and receive his free gift of forgiveness; I did that and have never regretted it.
Favorite sports team: For this question I live in the past—I love the Brooklyn Dodgers.

How did you wind up at Northwest: We were part of a house church for 15 years; when it disbanded in 1991, we began attending Northwest. Our first time here we felt that we were at “home.”
